Sharing knowledge and ideas has always been important, especially for experts. So first time in 1989 experts from Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Germany met to talk about valuation practice in the different countries. This was the starting point of an inspiring network, even though in those days networking was no term on everyone’s lips.

Ever since experts of property valuation meet once a year to discuss current issues of valuation, be it methodological, be it technical or be it from daily practice.

The Baltic Valuation Conference has been and still is a non-formal meeting of real estate appraisers from countries around the Baltic Sea. It does not only offer an informative exchange of experience, but also provides personal contact to colleagues in other countries.
This very conference is driven only by individual effort and interest – keep it going!

The 2026-conference will take place in Finland, date and location not yet decided on. Please come back for further information and spread the news to your colleagues!
